100 Word Challenge
This week our prompt for our 100 word challenge was ....it felt like.... We had to use these words in our story. Here are some of our 100 word challenges.
Dear Dumb Dairy, It all started when… One cold evening I went for a walk down to the closets shop. Mum told me I can spend five dollars. When I got to the shop, there was a big long line. I went to get me a drink and then a man came up to me and said, " DO YOU HAVE SOME MONEY". I was so scared, I said nothing to him. He asked me again, I went quickly into the line to pay for my drink. When I payed for it, I open it and I drank it. My drink felt like fizzy coming down my throat.

Hot air balloon ride.
Last week we wrote stories about if we went for a ride in a hot air balloon. We then coloured a picture of a hot air balloon from coLAR and then brought it too life with the app and had a buddy video it. After that we stood in front of the green screen and recorded our story. We then put together. Take a look at Keira's and Jeannie's.

Take a look at Callaghan's and Alex's.

T1W2 Reflection
What: This week in Room 2 we started cutting out our laminated bees for our classroom success-o-meter. We drew symmetry names and then coloured them in bright colours to make them look amazing. We wrote letters to ourselves for us to read at the end of the year.
So What: We learnt how to draw our names on angles. We learnt how to carefully cut laminated paper.
Now What: Next week we are going to try hard to finish our work on time.

"Light it up!"
Challenge: can you make the light bulb go?
This group was the first to get the light bulb to light up. This photo doesn't show the excitement when it first lit up - the neighbours would have heard them squeal!

Miss Thiele was proud of us for giving the cross country a really good nudge!
Well done Maz for winning the 8 year old girls race!
